From the Brea Mall area it's roughly 12 minutes straight down the SR-57. Coming from Downtown Brea on Birch Street it's about 13 minutes, and from the Olinda Village / Carbon Canyon side it's around 18 minutes via Lambert Road to the 57. It's a quick, mostly-freeway trip in either direction.
Absolutely. We run dedicated kids classes and a beginner program that assumes zero experience — most of our members from Brea had never trained before walking in. Every class scales to your level, so a brand-new adult or a first-time kid fits right in.
No. We're a no-gi academy, so there is no gi (kimono) to buy. Just wear a t-shirt and shorts or athletic gear for your first class. A rashguard is nice to have later, but nothing is required to get started.
