What kids actually learn, how classes are kept safe, and why jiu-jitsu builds the kind of quiet confidence that follows kids to school.

Kids Jiu-Jitsu in Fullerton: A Parent's Complete Guide

Parents rarely sign their kids up for jiu-jitsu because they want a future cage fighter. They do it because they want a confident, focused, respectful kid — and jiu-jitsu is one of the best tools on the planet for that. Here is what to expect from kids classes at 10th Planet Fullerton.

Split by age and level

Our kids program runs in two age divisions — Little Kids (ages 5–8) and Kids & Teens (ages 8–13) — so your child trains with peers their own size and stage. Little ones build coordination, listening and movement through play; older kids learn real technique with supervised live training.

Is it safe?

Yes. Classes are split by age and level, training is closely supervised, and safety and respect are non-negotiable. Kids learn how to fall, move and control on the mats long before anything looks like competition.

  • Real fitness that beats another afternoon on a screen.
